SADŌ

Japanese Tea Ceremony (Sadō) for Corporate Events

Slow the pace. Quiet the room. Watch a bowl of matcha come to life. Hayakawa brings the Japanese Tea Ceremony (Sadō) to your workplace—led by professional native Japanese Tea Master from Chennai Omote-Senke Sado-Kai, so your team can experience a mindful, beautifully paced ritual that has shaped Japanese hospitality for centuries.

This is not a performance you “watch and forget.” It is a grounding cultural experience that helps people breathe, focus and connect. Ideal for corporate offsites, leadership retreats, employee engagement days, MICE conferences, CSR initiatives, Schools, Universities and intercultural programs.

What your team experiences

  • A calm, guided demonstration of Chanoyu: the art, the etiquette and the spirit behind each movement
  • Freshly whisked matcha (Japanese green tea) served with wagashi (traditional sweets)
  • The meaning of key values—wa (harmony), kei (respect), sei (purity), jaku (tranquility) — explained in plain language
  • Optional hands-on moments for select participants, photos with the ceremonial setup and a short Q&A

Why companies book this

  • Cultural intelligence: authentic exposure to Japanese customs—valuable for India–Japan business ties
  • Team bonding: a gentle, shared memory that feels premium without being flashy
