Japanese Syllabus

The Japanese language courses are conducted by professional native Japanese teachers. Students are being prepared for Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) which is held twice a year on first Sunday of July and December all over the world. Examinations are held in India at New Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore.

The JLPT exam is conducted by Japan Foundation in association with Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, hitherto had four levels viz. JLPT Level 4 for basic, JLPT Level 3 and JLPT Level 2 as intermediate and JLPT Level 1 as the advanced level.

There was a quantum jump in syllabus from JLPT Level 3 to JLPT Level 2 in the sense that the students who learn 300 Kanji (pictorial representation) up to JLPT Level 3, had to learn additionally 700 Kanji to prepare for JLPT Level 2 and 4500 words.

Considering the representations made by the student community, the Japan Foundation who conducts the examination split the JLPT Level 2 into two parts and the revised nomenclature has been introduced beginning 2010. They are as follows:

Basically, the Japanese Language has three kinds of characters viz, Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. The Hiragana characters, 46 nos, are used to denote native Japanese words and Katakana characters, 46 nos, are used to denote foreign origin words. The Kanji characters, which are more than 2000, are pictorial representation of words.

Teaching Method

We use "The Direct Method" which involves teaching and learning a foreign language in the target language. This is acknowledged to be one of the best ways to learn a foreign language. This method helps the students to think in Japanese and motivates them to speak in Japanese language. We focus on read, write, listen and speak Japanese.

Japanese Classes

We conduct Japanese classes at our customer place by deputing Native Japanese Teachers. We are also conducting Japanese classes at our centre. We accommodate a maximum of 15 students per batch, so that best individual attention can be given.

Crash Courses too are conducted for spoken Japanese to help Business people learn to speak Japanese through Native Japanese Teachers in a very short time.
