We at Hayakawa are glad to inform you that we are going to conduct an open workshop for Haiku in collaboration with the Consulate General of Japan at Chennai and the Japan Foundation, New Delhi.
You can create your original Haiku and register for Speech & Haiku Competition in Chennai 2019, which will be conducted by Consulate General of Japan at Chennai.

Haiku - most shortest poem in the world,
it makes just 17 letters and its pattern is 5-7-5 pattern.
Simple and mostly contain the seasonally word (Kigo).
example: Meigetsu o totte kurero to naku ko ka na
“Why not pull at that full moon?”
A little child is sobbing
It is very simple rules;
1. 5-7-5 pattern
2. use the seasonally word (Kigo)
