Hotsuma International School

Hotsuma International School is a Japanese language school group with four campuses in Japan: Gifu, Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. Established in 2008, the school positions its mission beyond language learning—aiming to develop international-minded individuals who can live, study, and contribute in Japanese society.

Why consider Hotsuma

  • Modern learning approach: each student is provided a Chromebook, with ICT-based learning built into Japanese study
  • Active-learning classroom style and a curriculum grounded in language acquisition principles
  • Multinational environment that encourages collaborative learning and real-world communication skills
  • Practical student support: free airport pick-up at admission, hospital support when needed, plus assistance for phone contracts, opening bank accounts, and resident registration
  • Regular events (approximately once every 3 months) such as short trips and activities to support cultural immersion
