Why consider ISI

Key academic features include a class teacher (homeroom) system, structured career guidance touchpoints, and elective classes from the intermediate level onward—such as JLPT prep, EJU prep (university/vocational preparation), conversation and job hunting.
Long-term: Career Japanese Course
Designed for learners aiming to find employment or start a business in Japan, combining business Japanese and business skills alongside job-hunting support.
This track is implemented at ISI’s career-pathway campuses in Tokyo (Shibuya-Harajuku and Takadanobaba).
Admission & visa pathway
For long-term study (typically 12 months to 2 years), ISI explains that a Student Visa is usually required and the Certificate of Eligibility (COE) is needed. ISI applies for the COE on the student’s behalf.
ISI also publishes intake schedules and indicative application timelines (including immigration submission and visa application stages) and kindly note that processing can take several months—so early planning is recommended.
