Dr PVN graduated from University
of Madras in Mathematics with Distinction; obtained Masters from
IIT, Madras with First Class; Ph.D. from University of Madras with
'high commendation' and through 'Independent Research' During his
long career spanning over 37 years, he has served in the Technical
Education Department, Tamil Nadu and Anna University from 1964 to
2001 in various capacities starting his career as Associate Lecturer
to Professor of Mathematics and retired as Director - Entrance Examinations
& Admission, Anna University. He is an invited Member of International
Institute of Acoustics & Vibration, Auburn, USA; New York Academy
of Sciences, USA; Indian Mathematical Society, Indian Society for
Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and a host of others. He is an
internationally renowned researcher and educationist. |

Prof. P.V. Navaneethakrishnan was
honoured by the Government of Tamilnadu for his contribution to
Education, including Computer Education, with felicitation by the
Hon. Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Dr. Kalaignar M Karunanidhi on
July 10, 2000 at the Chief Minister's Chamber in the Secretariat,
Chennai.
He is an Educational consultant, Advisor and author of articles on higher education. He offers free counselling on higher education and careers through arranged talks and online. |
